Because Jesus is our example, we desire to value what Jesus patterned for us while He was here.
Because of this we believe the following:
1) RELEVANT BIBLE TEACHING
Because Jesus taught in a style and manner that made spiritual truths understandable, we value teaching relevant, transferable bible truth.
2) BALANCED WORSHIP
Because Jesus emphasized the balance of worshiping God in spirit and truth, we value vibrant contemporary worship that balances both head and heart.
3) FERVANT PRAYER
Because Jesus called His Father's house a house of prayer, we value the principle and practice of prayer in the church. This ensures that we have the power of God working in and among us, and that we acknowledge that
we cannot do anything on our own.
4) HELPING & CARING FOR OTHERS
Because Jesus was moved with compassion in response to people's needs, we value hearts moved with compassion to offer assistance, friendship, and the love of Jesus in times of need.
5) LOVE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Because Jesus loved the children and spent time with them, we value loving, mentoring, teaching, and training the children. Not only would Jesus not turn the children away, He told us we should be more like them.
6) SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Because Jesus shared His life with everyone from his closest disciples to strangers, we value sharing and receiving hospitality, loving and being loved, mentoring and being mentored, discipline and being disciplined
by those that God brings into our lives for the purpose of spiritual growth and maturity.
7) LIFE CHANGING EVANGELISM
Because Jesus shared his death with the entire world so that all could have eternal life, we value offering the
love and sacrifice of Jesus to everyone, both personally and corporately, through caring relationships, personal conversations, creative dramatic presentations, dynamic teaching, vibrant music, and the arts.
